![]() We experience it through Ash, the writer A.A. ![]() It's a smart, humane, emotionally honest, entertaining story. Glitterland Sparkles and Shines, and I Was WowedĬoming in to this audiobook, I already loved Glitterland, which I had read in ebook before. I think I learned a life listen from a gay book I picked up so that my art homework would be less tedious. The emotions they go through the fear and shame and the want to be taken care of but without the pity. I also want to mention that this has genuinely helped me understand on some level what a depressed person feels like during their lows. The writing is amazing and gives me a real appreciation for the art. I've personally never really experienced something like that so maybe it's just me thing but they write their characters often as soulmates and the one that completes the others and glitter land is no exception. I am hoping to fill my library with Alexis Hall books my only complaint story ways is sometimes I have to suspend my disbelief because of how fast they like their characters to get into relationships or fall in love. I wanted to cry with him there was so much emotion there. ![]() (spoilers) The very last scene where Ash and Darian are confronting those moments where ash cried wrenched my heart. I had never once heard of an Essex accent and I have no idea how he does it but Nicholas Boultons Performance was flawless. ![]() As an audio-sensitive person, the voice of the person acting is so important to me for audiobooks. ![]()
